Our dynamic mission statement reflects the reality of our constantly evolving
industry:
The AMR's mission is to actively promote relationship marketing and
contribute to the development, evolution and prestige of its industry, across
all channels.
Our definition of relationship marketing
Relationship marketing is the sum of individual, interactive and durable contact points between a company and its target audiences. This relationship is initiated by a direct communication with a customer from a brand, product or service and aims at establishing an interaction, and ultimately loyalty, through measurable exchanges based on trust and mutual respect.
A not-for-profit organization, the AMR integrates all facets of our industry
in its Board of Directors who head up the following four committees:
Networking Events and Conferences
Information and Communication
Membership Development
Education and Training
A General Manager who is a well-known and well-respected professional in the industry supports this team.
But a mission statement without a clear vision shared by its Members and Directors would be meaningless. From this ensue our clear, unified and realistic objectives:

...all regulated by a strict Code
of Ethics and Standards of Practice.
Being a member of the AMR means sharing in our objectives!
The challenges the AMR must continue to meet are:
- Representing the interest of our members in current provincial and national debates;
- Implementing a training program covering upcoming strategic trends and technological advances;
- Offering a full Calendar of Activities encompassing all facets of our industry, ranging from small seminars to large conferences led by well-reputed industry leaders.
In this respect, our status as an affiliated organization enables us to continue building a mutually beneficial national partnership with the CMA
